Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with relevant business functions to understand the domain and data structure;
- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand the data requirement such as user insights, customer journeys, business metrics; perform corresponding analysis to develop dataset, reports, and dashboards using BI tools;
- Analyze data for trends and patterns to support business strategic planning;
- Contribute to the solution of various data migration projects, especially data validation;
- Coach business users to get familiar with BI reports;
- Perform data audit to identify the cause of mismatched data between systems when needed.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Quantitative Analysis, Computer Science, or similar majors;
- Strong SQL skills required;
- Experience with one of the programming languages such as Python or R is a plus;
- Proficient in Power BI and familiar with other data visualization tools such as Metabase, Looker, or Tableau;
- Have practical working experience with data warehouse (AWS RedShift, Google BigQuery, PostgreSQL, MySQL) is a plus.
