A 2024 report from the Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs showed that blue-collar workers account for 44% of national recruitment demand – a group typically earning low incomes and with limited access to traditional financial services. In this context, Gimo emerges as a humane and practical solution, narrowing the gap in digital financial access, reducing reliance on predatory lending, and laying the foundation for sustainable development.
